Snow Day

Snow Day

A Poem by Judy Ponceby
"

"School cancellations...

"

Snowbeasties lurking out there
Howling loudly in despair.

Hidden in the drifting snow
Innocent sparkling flakes aglow.

Snow devils spinning in a flurry
Causing anxiety, so much worry.

Treacherous roads of ice and snow
Blizzard conditions with arctic flow.

Peering from the frozen window
Snowbeasties dancing to and fro.

Grabbing the cocoa on a tray,
Closings mean there's time to play.

Judy I love your style! I need a snowbeastie here--I am melting in the heart! A pleasure to read your work!

I see this every day...in the artificial winter I work in. Nice work.

Judy, I went overboard with a teasing testament to insanity beginning with its 96 here and July. Then deleted it. The whole thing boils down to - your write was fun enough to want to tease you over... and that says all that I needed to say.
