Tap, tap, tapping at the Door

Tap, tap, tapping at the Door

A Poem by Judy Ponceby
"

Tap, tap, scrape, snuffle.....

"

Aardvarks and Applesnarks,
filling in between the quarks.

They scratch and scrape behind the door.
They shuffle and snuffle across the floor.

I hear them tapping, hear them scraping,
wonder where they've gone a traipsing.

Aardvarks are on the move,
Applesnarks are in the groove.

Just like land sharks after the ants,
Make sure there's not one up your pants.
