Prayer

Truth is more valuable than diamonds.

Open my mind,

open my eyes!

         Let me see the truth, 

         let me see the lies.

                     Behind all the Masks,

                     behind their disguise.

                                 And never be the fool, 

                                 but always the wise.

Take the and out. It{s beat is never picked back up by the time you reach the end. Reasoning? the lines are matching either 6 for 6 or 5 for 5 depending. take the last bit for examle

And never be the fool, but always the wise. Its a 6 to 5 measure unless the never is pronounced ne´er but I dont think it was meant to.

Ok the good stuff, right? This is a perfect poem of opposites. I love the words and the floating moment before you dive into the next line. Beautiful and well written
