Romancing Neptune

Romancing Neptune

A Poem by J.P. Bristow

You broke upon me

 My Prooshan blue

Through salty tears

You swayed

With inviting warmth.

Lured by my dark Lochinvar

And

Deaf to the ring of bells

I drank deep

Intoxicated by dancing water.

Though we be but May

And January

T’was under a mares tail sky

You claimed this loathly lady

As

Your willing

Tide bride.

Awesome! The poem has every nostalgic element to invade our minds. I liked the below lines a lot:

"My Prooshan blue

Through salty tears

You swayed

With inviting warmth."

Thank you.
