Cynosure

Cynosure

A Poem by J.P. Bristow

There is no way to write this away.

If I could crawl out from under this skin

To tear away the lies that creep along my hollows

to breathe faith

I wish for blind belief.

A pool of doubt surrounds me and lazily

I backstroke through life …
