One Tiny Bloom

One Tiny Bloom

A Poem by MsJewel

~~~
Of all the sweet and all the scent
held in one tiny bloom
Of all the spring and all the rain
scented with soft perfume
In graceful dance upon a breeze
painted of summer’s hue
Hiding her head, so quietly,
as autumn’s chill comes due
In ivory white the meadow lies
a snowy winter quilt
Within a dream of summer days
she has no fear to wilt
For she can hear the angels sing
of sunbeams found in gold
Beyond the glass of ice and snow
beauty softly unfolds
As she blossoms brilliant and bright
through winter woes below
she holds a gift we know as hope
that keeps her heart aglow
And with a breath of scented rain
and hope gently in flight
her petals fly with grace and ease
upon a breeze of light
And all the chill of icy paths
and snowy frozen gloom
are not a match for all the strength
held in one tiny bloom
~~~

The love in your words, the way you express them are beautiful and honestly, so filled with love, each and every line/word. A beautiful tribute to Hannah.

// In ivory white the meadow lies

Within a dream of summer days
she has no fear to wilt //

Amazing, I am speechless.

A poem that could be taught to school children. Excellent use of word play. Insightful. Visually stimulating. Brilliant. Best poem I've read on hear so far. One I would easily recommend to anyone.

Umm just noticed I made a spelling mistake. Sorry, it was late and I was tired.
What a beautiful imagery you have conjured, Julie. I adore the last stanza. It wrapped it all up prettily.
