With a kiss he thaws the sleeping snow

and fantasy finds springtime

days are warm,

nights warmer still

we dance among the fireflies

heart's aglow

naked to the naked moon

and in the brilliance of its crest

time is nowhere...

This poem's structure is like
a delicate little butterfly
balanced on a pink thistle
on a sunny afternoon in June,
a thistle growing beside a crystal lake
that embraces its reflection.

You're welcome! It's just the usual flowery language that I write before setting it to rhyme. In this case rhyme wasn’t necessary. Poem’s don’t need to rhyme. Songs don’t need to rhyme either. Since you had "snow" and "aglow" at center, then I had "afternoon" and "June" at center.

Julie, if a kiss can melt the sleeping snow, then it's a kiss worth savoring and writing about and yes, dancing with the moon... heating up the night is usually the result of such a kiss, hell, even as a result of such a poem as this... aaah Julie, a friend of mine used to say "write on", but I think in your case I would say, "scribble on" my wonderful poetic friend... ~~redzone
