A Storm Untamed

These zephyr winds that wait for thunder

that rumble deep where passion lives

in storms that cannot yield as under

the silk of sheets, these winds they give

you every breath and every heartbeat

quickly to rise, surrounding you

with an embrace both wild and sweet… 

you cannot tame what these winds do

 

Gather these winds with the passion of

a storm untamed, for you my love

You have such a way with words! I love how you slow love down and make it a special treat. Like getting a 10$ speciality cupcake at the bakery. You never dive right in...you take its wrapper off and savor every last bite. You poems do the same.
