A clear boundary of hope

A clear boundary of hope

A Poem by prachi prangya agasti
"

A second chance to love

"

Was it so easily broken off?

The moments prevailed as memories

Disappeared with the storm his teary eyes

His essence burnt as a slow poison

There weren’t many hearts to trade

Just one with unsettled wildness

But a dead weight stuck with an ache

A ghost haunting the soul of its existence

Years passed by like seasons

And my heart dwindled with the fall

A lifetime is never a forever

A beautiful thing chanted its remorse

A belief grows extraordinarily

From the brokenness with a possibility

A series of chances tripped across her moments

Desperate hearts seeking for wings

A barren ground craves a moist love

Could I redeem the heart with another?

After a million painful exhales

My eyes linked with a softer hazel ones

A feeling triggered, warmth touched the cold

A faint trace of longing crept through

The void that had seized the passion

Long through the heartbreaking phases

Do broken deserve a second chance?

The beginnings scared the vulnerable heart

A worse than better it could be or

A figment of disguised antidote

Mapping the geographies of regret

Should I stand in the line and think of him again?

Or should I embrace the calm through the storm

A momentary forever to play along

With a clearer boundary of hope

Rarely are we given second chances. Better to lead with concern and kindness. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry. I like the poetry that asked questions. This poem did.
