You can let me

You can let me

A Poem by prachi prangya agasti
"

A friend. A companion. A lover

"

When you have enough agony

Haunting you

Let me absorb your tears

When you have buried heartaches

Shattering you

Let me smother your wounds

When a light shimmer of hope

Awakens you

Let me hold fast to your dreams

When you have a needle of solitude

Piercing your scars

Let me share your empty closet

When you have fear of losing battles

Crushing you

Let me sing glory of your whopping tales

When you are in need of someone

A power of a touch

A kind heart

An honest compliment

A little attention

A certain someone

To talk to or not talk to

Count me in because I want to be

Fine write, and I love the use of line length and poem form, centrally set, to good effect. Excellent

Thank you so much... :)
reminds me of an old Gary Lewis song..."when you need someone to count on, count me in/ someone you can rely on through thick and thin"

love the sentiment here.

This is absolutely beautiful! I feel like people who don't have many friends can find this poem to be very comforting. Well done
