A Pearly Gate Whisper

A Pearly Gate Whisper

A Poem by *

Siren's vision,
fool's decision,

what rests in
your wandering eye
is but the peace
which criers deny.

There seems no end
in closed circuit chasms
that only mend
with warm orgasms.

A pearly gate whisper
is all you hear
when given the choice
to disappear.

Very powerful words and very well written. This piece truly captures the reader and allows them to feel many emotions all at once. Excellent job!

Incredible poem, I feel sadness, but I also sense a feeling from the poem that to not exist would relieve one of the loneliness and pain, and as a result a very personal & sincere expression of internal conflict. Very well done.

Such a sad write, finely laid but surely there's more to feeling like that?.

There's more to love than the physical.. yet your words suggest that's all that matters before parting companY. Plus, more often or not disappearing is the easy part, forgetting is something else. Perhaps.
