My love

My love

A Poem by JustNonsenseAndSugar

His arms wrapped about me
strong as bands of iron.
His eyes were soft, his hands softer,

I awake in silence
and he was asleep on me.
I didn't want to move,
to disrupt him as he slept.

Insomnia sapped his strength
Anorexia stealing mine.
We were broken,
dying,
crying.
but we were together.
