Hallowed

Hallowed

A Poem by Alex P.

Here it is,

This time again,

When the Sun fades too early,

And the cold comes to fast

Let us come again,

And let this circle be cast.

Let the Sun’s journey be safe,

During his trip through the abyss,

To come to us again,

Through the divine,

At Christmas

Now let everyone,

Carve out their pumpkins and light them bright,

For we need to help guide the Lost Ones,

On this ancient, hallowed night

Let those of us in the know,

Give thanks and be blessed,

For we’ve survived another year,

We’ve past another life test

Reflect upon what you’ve done,

Revitalize yourself through thought,

But give time this night to remember,

That which we ought to have not forgot

Let the Old One guide the Lost,

Through the billowing veil,

Perhaps you can go yourself,

For the barrier is so frail

But do not fear,

Never fret,

You won’t be gone forever,

For this only lasts one night,

And ends on the first of November
