A Voluntary Expansion Of Heart

A Voluntary Expansion Of Heart

A Poem by KWP
"

it's that inside feeling

"

Ever flowing waterfall,

teach me of your unselfish gift of life

Single flower in the meadow surrounded by,

thousand of flowers

just like you,

teach me of the small part you play in the beauty

of one and all

not requiring the fanfare

as you dance to your own tune in

the nature of all things.

You there, majestic tree in the woods,

you’ve been rooted there for time eternal,

observing day turn to night,

feeling the wind sweep past,

patiently growing.

Teach me your meditations, so I no longer

feel the rush away from this

moment

here with you.

Sun - fiery blaze, high above

you never falter

you never choose who to

share your life giving energy

Teach me please your unbiased ways

so my heart may grow

and I too can share with the intention

of equal love

for one and all

Dodger, my Cocker Spaniel best friend

you have taught me so much

forgiveness eternal

friendship unbound

loyalty unending

Keep teaching me please,

my heart's only option

is to smile in every second

with you.

Life unfolding

expand my heart

as I choose to love

harder, deeper, longer

Life, I know you already understand,

with my expansion of heart

I become lighter.

Ephemeral is my time here life

allow me to burst with the

love I am desperate to share

allow me please, Life

- to burst.

i wish more had this intention...to burst with love...this really got to me...that one single little flower....adds to the overall beauty...and each individual is so important in the scheme of things...we all add to the beauty of nature and society...and each is just as important.

I actually just now before reading this, like 10 minutes ago, finished a poem with a very similar sentiment. I've never met two people who could be more different while being similar.

As you wrote in the above poem... "keep teaching me please". I'll try and return the favor.
