my third in the series

suffocation 

will only have the desired effect 

for a short time 

I’ll either end up dead 

or you shall control me for

the lengths of my inhibited 

inhales 

then what?

this game you play 

it is not love 

but darling 

trying to control 

a woman unbound 

serves no purpose 

in in the everywhen 

transient beings

take transient shapes 

and as the last breath drains 

she’s already moved on

this game you play 

it is not love

the everywhen is like taming 

a typhoon with a lasso

she is the everywhen 

she knows it 

you’ve yet to grasp the ungraspable 

imprint of force 

feeds your own diseased ego 

what for?

what darkness do you need to explore?

are the lessons being served? 

as you release me and I draw 

life wielding breath 

are you too released? 

choose wisely your counterpart

for some of us are ready to die

are you brave enough for the consequences?

I like the line about inhibited inhales. It seems we don't always choose wisely in love and then our true selves are altered as a consequence. The hard part is that we know it's happening

Cold and damp over here. Jake says hi, he's asleep on the couch next to me whilst the family sleep upstairs. This is his 13th Xmas with us, I picked him up on Christmas eve as a gift for my then 5 year old daughter back in 2005. Over the past 6 months age has really caught up with the old fella, he's best part deaf, has had trouble with his gums and teeth and his back end is starting to give out. In the spring we are getting another pup to lessen the blow of him upping and leaving, which will break my heart. Thing with him is he looks so much younger than his years, as the recent pic shows.
Glad your boys are showing a bit of fight, be nice for them to get back to their best...but not to good :))

Did have a bird once who wanted to pee on me, " do you like golden rain " she asked. Well, me being a village boy, quite naive, had never heard of this so was gobsmacked that she wanted us to get naked, me sit in the bath, and her stand behind me and piss all over my back and head. Now, call me old fashioned, but I don't even like peeing on my own hand so what possessed her to think I might like her stinking, unwanted bodily fluids sprayed willy nilly all over me beggars belief, and this I told her. I would even think twice about accepting such an offer if I was on fire, but, and this is a big but ( no, not a big arse, which incidentally she owned, and not a very good one at that, it was saggy, like two carrier bags full of water) I might have let her piss into my boots if I had a bad case of trench foot....it's meant to good for it. Anyway, not to be deterred she then offered me " fudge cake", this I didn't even ask about.
She also had a thing about wanting to jam the contents of the fridge up my bum, I know, unbelievable, but I told her this was never gonna happen as poo should only ever be pushed up hill whilst using a wheelbarrow, and there was no way on God's earth she was ramming one of those up my jacksie.
Some folk are strange eh !!!

Annnnnnnnd, the night before I met my wife ( on holiday in Tenerife) I ended up in bed with 3 ladies from London, only to find that due to copious amount of lager I was limper than a one legged man with a stone in his shoe, so had to make do with watching as they messed about with each other......one of the bigger regrets of my drunken "ago" life :))

when I used to frequent dance parties there was a guy who went by the name of trough man - he lay in the urinals off his head and waited for guys to pee on him - of course he became a legend.

back in the days of film photography my find worked as a developer and come home one day with a bunch of green apple shots - one out side the butt one going Ito the butt and one with only a ten cent piece of green showing inside the butt

I have never seen anyone weave together the ideas of BREATH and CONTROL! Very thought-provoking! I'm reminded of many ways breath and control can be intertwined! It's been years since I've been in a tweaked relationship, but I do remember how these things used to go & you've nailed how it can feel to be in the middle of it. its a metaphysical question in closing ...lots of deeper meanings in this ... in holding something expecting some gratuitous return ... we do enslave ourselves don't we :( not easy lessons ...your warning about choosing a partner could not be more dire ... it is that important ...
