Tears and Smiles!

Tears and Smiles!

A Poem by Kanchan Ojha "Eureka"
"

Here flows the words.

"
She will write her story
interwoven with pain
with tears in her eyes

She will try to laugh
amidst those pains
with tears in her eyes

You will see her smiles
never will you see her cry
though tears are there in her eyes

You can listen to her giggles
faint goes the whimpers
even when tears are rolling in her eyes

She is a charmer
she looks ecstatic
despite the tears in her eyes.

It painted the image of a woman I know, who's life is has been a life of thorns but I dont think even a percent of people who know are aware of it. A very relateable and beautifully tragic piece!

Thanks much for your words :-)
There was such vulnerability but yet so much strength. I wanted to know which was real, until it appeared to me that both are real. She was cursed in my eyes. I believed she would survive although wounded, but just wished she could just let it out and in time heal and become whole again. Thought provoking work.
