Simply, I Love You

Simply, I Love You

A Poem by KarMarBar
"

A short, but sweet poem for my fiance...

"
Just sitting at my computer,
alone in the studio apartment
we share our lives in,
and I think about you.

So I'll try to write a poem
that can express my love for you.
But there would never be enough words
to describe my appreciation for you.

I'll try to tell you how much I love you,
how I cannot believe we've been through so much.
I can thank you for saving my life.
I can thank you for being that crutch.

I can tell you much I appreciate
how I never have to worry about you,
about how I know you will be faithful no matter the circumstance,
I can let you know the same is true about me in regards to you.

I can try to make some more words rhyme
to convey how I feel inside
But words can only say about us...
soul mates - it'll be worth the ride.

I think you said it perfectly. How we truly feel is so hard to put into words, it always seems that when we finish writing there is still something missing. We search long and hard for those perfect words that will express exactly what we are feeling in our herats. But, "Simply, I love you" is all of them wrapped up in a wonderful little four word package that says everything. Great writing.

Very beautiful, I think it is hard at times to tell someone all that we love, but I find my hands can speak for my heart, where my tongue often falters.
