It's All Relative

It's All Relative

A Poem by Karen Redburn

Sensitivities overstimulated

Input swamps

Shockwave imminent

Creating Confusion

Pans dancing... flee

Dash, hide, cloaked invisibility

Sinking submerged in terra-firma

Escaping fear

Solid, calm, earthen Artemis

Wild, unburdened hunted

frosted breath, ghostly silence

Serene cave sanctuary

Hidden, silent, free

Perceived reprieve, chaos absent

Opposition has gone, howl

Peaceful acceptance

Analyze, consider

Diverse, manifold, multiple

Blessings, curses, life's resistance

Ponder the dread

Human careless, hard, ruthless

Superficial, rushed

Weak alone... chasms

Humanities disconnection

Human kindness, love, support

Compassionate, integrity

Strengthened together... bridges

Humanities connections

Stepping up

Crossing chasm

Bridged connection

Chaos forever

Existence calmly returns
