Whisper

Whisper

A Poem by Kat Blair
"

A simple, short, questioning poem.

"
Some days I wonder why I'm here.
where I'm going. Where to steer.
And I wonder why I'm standing still.
When the world around me never will.
Why I'm lost. Or where I am.
If I'm changing, or if I can.
Who I love, and who I've lost.
For if I'm learning, what's the cost?
Who will I be in years to come?
Or if they'll remember what I've done.
'Cause I'm just a whisper in the wind.
Here, and then I'm gone.

yes indeed I have these questions many times too many to count
well the follies are done
the reasons why greater then the sum of their parts i wonder aloud maybe at times
sometimes to others around,.. me
me in this static yet jerkily ever shifting
frame of refernece
some call it the matrix
yet I call it more than just an information web.
The matrix or life can you/me choose both instead?

(felt inspired to write this so tell me what you thought?)

thank you for the beautifully summarized note on what we more or less
all seek.

beautiful.... Sounds like me when I read it... Every person goes through this state of time and I too have recorded my words during that.

Well written. Keep it up...

Fantastic poem. Great flow and rhymes and I have asked myself these questions, too.
Well done :)

Short but powerful; conjures the questions we hate to ask ourselves. Nice job!

To wonder is to be human, you have captured the insecurities of us all. I enjoyed it.
