A tribute to Friday nights

Roll the hit dice,

Roll damage twice

Critical fail,

Time to pay the price

 

A bloodthirsty orc,

A giant snail,

Who knows what we’ll meet

In this epic tale

 

The swish of an axe,

The twang of a bow,

What happens next

Is only for the DM to know

 

Gold coins flowing,

Mead by the flagon

And bards sing praise to

 our conquest

Of the dungeon and the dragon

I've been a table top DnD player and collector for a long time and enjoyed this fun piece, thanks. I'd like it even better if it maintained a rhythm, and you could just pull a few words to make it flow. For instance, take out 'now' and 'time to' from the first stanza, and 'word' from the second and then read it.
