Torn Angel

Torn Angel

A Poem by Katelyn Barker

If you are a torn angel,
winding like a tornado,
sweeping things from the ground
moving fast, making sound.
Throwing them away
Yelling for them to stay
They left you
alone in the dark
with nothing to create a spark
You’re alone
and afraid
you can’t believe you stayed
It’s dark in here
Your suspicion
 turns to fear
It’s cold down here
and you’ve been here
for a year
But now they are back
haunting you
breaking you.
