Relief (Salvation)

Relief (Salvation)

A Poem by Kay

Look harder, doubtful Eye,
we cannot be dead by mortal Lie.
The Viper whispers and I
am falling through broken Sky
on wings that spread to deny
Death from catching my will to fly,
while Sun and Moon run quickly by
and Cloud pulls my hand up high.
The Universe is asking us to try,
unravel Dark and make it shy,
naked and alone as robes untie,
chain it to Star and it will die.
Inside my soul and within your sigh,
ending with Summer's cry.

a nice piece of writing, creative use of words and the central thought of the poem is very poignant.
