I love my mind

I love my mind

A Poem by DarkStar

I love my mind.
Put my mind.
In a different body,
A working body.
And I honestly believe I could have a good life.
But then I wonder,
Did my wonderful, empathetic, crazy, twisted mind,
Come from my fragmented body?
The truth is, though I loath to admit it, probably.
So then I'm left with the question,
That will likely plague me till the day I die.
Would I trade in my incapacitated body,
For the cost of my enriched mind?
