I don't even dream right

I don't even dream right

A Poem by DarkStar

Let me explain it.
In every sense of the saying.
I do it wrong.
But that's not a new story,
In fact it's incredibly long.
From the dreams of the future,
To the ones late at night.
Reality is something,
I've never known how to get right.
Now the former of these two,
Works better with a little magic,
But to much,
And everything gets a little tragic.
The latter is irrelivent,
Just might effect how you sleep.
Dreams late at night,
Have no rules to keep.
But too much of both,
Both first and that which followed,
Often leave a person
Feeling quite hollowed.
For what we lack in our lives,
Maybe supplied in our Dreams,
But to much of a gap between the two,
May leave us cracking at the seams
