No Surprise

It should be no surprise to me that people are fully capable of this random act. Eventually we become strong enough to cope with it even when it feels like the world has just stopped.  We learn to guard ourselves and to isolate ourselves in our own tiny little space because we know the dangers that come along with opening doors...or even worst having them slam into our face. It takes courage to walk forward. I can say the same for trust.  I stepped back so many times knowing it was for the best, never knowing if I was wrong. It just seems every time I take the shot. I'm drowned in my own blood. It only seems right to live within these walls even if it mean's I'm dead . I've always been afraid of comfort. It's always been...just me...comforting myself.
