Life of Sid

Even though the pain pulsates through the meds

life flashes in alternating moments and dreams make sense

spread your wings and fly, I don't believe the greats are meant to say goodbye

Like a beautiful kite you fill up the sky in color with your magnificence 

only the string tying you down to this earthly suffering

believe and seek deliverance, I watch you soar passed the clouds

Loud is your heart that echoes volumes of love 

Pure is your soul like the feathers of a dove 

tuck away that insecurity, disown the negativity 

Behold tomorrow for you're in it, this life you're going to win it!

No one can take that away from you, the sunlight flows through you

Radiate in the rays of your amazing ways 

O'How you brighten up all of our days 

I feel your heart jump out of your skin, cleansing and curing the blood within

we walk this path together, when you feel like you need a brother

look no further I'll carry you to the finish line 

My heart's yours, your heart's mine 

You've healed me and you'll heal you in time

So don't ever give up, you're not a memory I can put behind

for a friend that has to deal with leukemia. I can't take away the pain but i can definitely not let it be the only feeling you feel brother <3

First of all let me say Sid is in my thoughts and prayers, dear friend. This is such a lovely tribute, a soulful write, from the depths of your heart and soul. A beautiful one at that. Such compassion, the intensity of pain and helplessness is felt, something I can relate to. As you fight along side your friend, cherish the sweet memories, let the love and light from friends and family give you both strength, and courage to face the days ahead. He's very lucky to have such a loving compassionate friend, as you are truly a blessing in my life as well. Much love sweet friend.
