Dark matter covers your salty eyes
Emotion triggers your disguise
Heart lingers beyond the event horizon
Of the black hole that took its place
Feelings suppressed into void
With power to destroy infinite moons
Asteroids fire from memories of a boy
The past is shadow, the now is ghost
Your nebula in the midnight sky
Gravitates towards an apology
Ronan space is an analogy
Run your fingers through my hair
Ripples created in my universe
A vortex of goodbyes this is your curse
My arms are trembling i'm so scared
Tremors whisper you're no longer there

Keegan D'Souza,
I like how you interact the finality of deep loss with the depths of space. Moving contrasts between relational changes and active heavenly happenings. Moving poem no doubt!! Blessings. Kathy

Intriguing imagery and themes. I especially like the line: "The past is shadow, the now is ghost"

You're welcome.
this analogy to the end of love is so well done...there is always that fear as we walk away...even when we know it is the necessary thing to do...the idea of being alone leaves us in that black hole of existence...i have missed your writings, Kee.
