Faded KissesA Poem by Kelso A. Nicholson
Faded are your kisses, they never last long
as I cannot find a place to store my heart. I give and inevitably revoke walking such a thin line swaying back and forth with the changing breeze. I love and inevitably regret all the while holding on to secrets or truths that I am too afraid to tell you. I feel and inevitably forsake when I tire of dangling my heart in front of you. Waiting for you to reach out for it. Faded are your kisses, because you never stay long.
