My Way

My Way

A Poem by Kes

No way.

Don't try

to worm your way

out of this one.

You don't make stupid comments,

And expect me to shrug them off.

I'm not thick.

I can't believe you.

You need to change.

I can see.

But you're not even looking.

Open your eyes.

I'm not

stupid.

I'd fake it,

Just to shock you;

Just to shut you up.

I want to

make you

understand.

I will make

you see things

my way.

Author's Note

Kes
I got mad at someone today for making a stupid comment about sexuality. I wasn't impressed with their narrow-mindedness. To say the least.

Enjoy,
Xx

Good to try to change a wrong view. Hard to do. But can be done. I like the honest and strong statements in the poem. A strong ending to a outstanding poem.

I can tell your angry when reading this poem. Narrow-minded people annoy me, too. They're blind to the world.
Great poem
