Don't Let Them Get You Down

Don't Let Them Get You Down

A Poem by Kathryn Star, Shine!
"

There are times when you listen to the wrong people, but you can avoid them and make yourself strong.

"

Fly, high

Wind makes you float

Always voltures ready to attack

Take your wings and soar

Makes you stronger

Feel the heat,

But never beat

Wait, see

Others are all around

They hold good thoughts

So you are not forgot

There's a lot of love,

When a swarm of birds,

All fly together as one.

There is always strength in numbers and in moment in which we need to be surrounded by positive energy it is great to have friends there to support you as you struggle with whatever it may be that is trying to drag you down. I think your beautiful words convey that so perfectly. It is wonderful to see people care for others especially given that they have not met other than an exchanging of words over the internet. Beautifully showing of compassion.

Great Job!!!!!!!

Nice imagery. Nice contrasts. And words to encourage another. Good stuff. I think you could have gone further but it also looks like you got it out what you wanted to say. Cheers to you, KS!

This is what friends are for Kathryn...to stick together in times of strife...we will ALL conquer, when we fly together as one!

This applies to the peace movement as well...Let us ALL join together and march as one to eradicate war and suffering!

Good Job

Wow thanks Kathryn...you have really touched me with your words, support, and of course your kindness. I think these words can apply to anyone who is going through tough times and but they are especially heartwarming because you said you wrote this for me.

*hugs*
