love me for me

love me for me

A Poem by LostandForgotten

Love me for who I am
not what you wish I would be.
Can you not see the fear in my eyes as I confront you, waiting for your words to rip holes in my skin?
The pain, the judgement
 becoming to much to bear.
I am my fathers daughter,
a black sheep to not be accepted by the likes of you and yours
you knew who I was and who you think I am.
accept me
love me
Don't cause me to bleed more than I already am.
my scars not fading
Instead turning brilliant hues of blue
You are my biggest enemy next to my own mind.
Words and looks ripping and shredding until I am no more.

If this is how what you write when you are venting, keep the venting unrelenting.
