Khaled Hishma Poetry: This World Of Yours

Khaled Hishma Poetry: This World Of Yours

A Poem by Khaled Hishma

My waves do not know beaches
Drowning all tracts of the burned land.
My doors do not accept locks
Opening the horizons of my looted borders.
My times do not dread predestination
Extracting years of stolen days.
My anger plucks out pains
Climbing fences of frantic life.
My winds swallow clouds
Overstepping labyrinths of tormented realm.
My hope is waiting for rains
Challenging whiffs of planted delusions.
My ardent love in my heart solitude
Desiring orchards of rowed pastures.
In my trail...My roads are writhing
Searching for a drawn plaque of joy.
But I am...In front of you a human
Retreating in the face of plugged up bastions.
Like a child I set in your glow
Swimming in the seas of your svelte eyes.
Implanting myself in my body
Contemplating the worlds of your dippled lips.
In your universe's courtyard I worship
I witness the colors of your streaked spectrums.
In the cities of your charm I pray
So that my closed realm remains open.
