A need to part from pains ebb

A need to part from pains ebb

A Poem by Kiari Sabon

I wish to part from this physically by pain or in sleep,

At least half my soul I shall keep.

Forever I shall weep,

And the bitter sweet whip my back shall reap.

For in sin I’m knee deep,

And sorrow I’ll ever keep.

Shall we ever meet again after a thousand years in a new plain?

A new life?

What will we be when we meet?

I a demon and you a dream.

Shall I rip at your flesh without flinching and my soul quivering?

Or shall I fall upon my knees once more and weep?

Either way I’ll leave back to the underworld to my lord and master,

To ever weep…

And ever reap the dark whip upon my flesh…

Farewell and goodbye for now I shall die.
