i am the monster living in your mind
i am the poison in your soul    i am your redemption and your salvation
 a balance of man neither right nor wrong
nor weak or strong
 i know neither life nor death i know breath but not air
i bring joy and pain and only know suffering
 i can only help others and not myself
people only see me take when all i do is give
so tell me what am i
your angel or your demon
 tell me do you love me or hate me
are you repulsed by my wicked ways or desire my kindness
 do you take me for a mortal or immortal
give me your pain and ill give you my strength
hide your emotions and they will only become mine
 so tell me what you fear and ill protect you
 tell me what you desire so i may destroy or even fulfill it so tell me what you see when you look at me
