dancing shadows

dancing shadows

A Poem by Kiari Sabon

Shadows dancing on the walls, reminding me of all my falls.

Ripping of my flesh.

Slashing of my wrist, now I’m very pissed.

Leave me be ye demons. Leave me be.

Shoved to the floor reaching for the door.

Torn from my vessel of a body.

Taken to be judged.

What shall be my sentence be?

Peace or despair?

I like the starting lines... the third line seems a bit played out for rhyme... and the rest picks up the verse...and leaves you to question...what happens to the victim...
