the path i fell

the path i fell

A Poem by Kiari Sabon

You were my true love or so i thought.......

I gave you my heart.

I let you in my soul.

I had hope and dream filled eyes.

I was your game.

I was your joke.

I was immortal and good.

I was powerful and peaceful.....

though misunderstood.

You taught me just so you could beat me.

You found the cracks in my wall

so later you could shatter me and watch me fall.

You made me mortal first.

I became weak and mean.

Then you broke my soul inside out.

I became hopless and evil.

Then you cut out my heart and told everyone you found me down like this.

You hide my heart in your bag.

Covered in my blood you said you tried to help.

I just shook and listened.

they left and you turned and said,

"Stay down and never get up.

But know you were a fun game to bad we cant continue."

You laugh the words.

You left me there upon the ground,

and if I had a heart it would have broken.

I cried long and hard.

I thought I would never stop.

Then one day you called upon me.

"Come to me ill give you your heart.

Im sorry and I love you."

I ran to you full of hopes and dreams.

When I got there my heart was on a plate before you.

You got up and striked me down with your words and your fist.

Then you sat me in a chair across from yours and whispered in my ear,

"Now watch as I devour the last of you."

With each cut and bite my hopes and dreams shatter,

as did my soul.

You wipe your mouth and smirk.

You say, "You made it all to easy.

You gave me your heart and let me into your soul.

You even let me shape your mind.

hahaha

You were a fun game though."

You threw me out of your home and yourlife.

Now im a broken soul that weeps yet feels nothing anymore.

I am a shell.
