Hopeless love

Poem about two people in love yet time moves them apart.

I am with her

holding her close

She whispers in my ear

"I love you" she says

Oh how I love her back

 

But the hands are moving

Swirling around the face

Time is pulling us apart

We are being driven away

 

So here I must sit

And watch the segments light up

And change into the time again

When I am with my love

 

Again.
