A Poem by Kio Konarage™
"

Just something that I came up with. Enjoy.

"
You were the one who showed me the ways of darkness,
corrupted my mind with this cimmerian shade.
But yet you lived with happiness like there was no tomorrow.
I never knew how you did it,
happiness and sorrow simultaneously.
I tried for years to become like you,
but each effort was useless,
death was on my mind,
and sorrow was on my soul.
It was until the day you died,
that I couldn't figure out your secret.
Then I saw you die with a smile that could bring tears,
tears to the eyes of even death itself.
It was then I realized what may bring me happiness.
Knowing that death is around every corner,
and life will easily give you away to him.
Life isn't a gift,
its a curse.
A curse to those who want to die.

I wasn't trying to make a award winning poem or anything here. Its just something that flowed from my fingertips onto my paper in school today (10/22/10).
Its just my dark side coming out I suppose. Feel free to leave comments.

I really can relate to this poem. My favorite part is "Life isn't a gift, its a curse. A curse to those who want to die". Great work it's dark but well written and thought provoking. Thank you for sharing.
