Snow Day

The chill of the snow outside nipped at our noses. Thick coats and blankets were never not needed and heartily would a fool think to go out and play in those blankets of scintillating white. A neighbor who came around to shoot the breeze about the weather is always welcome to join around the hearth, for the hearth is not just a place of warmth but of kindness, trust, and familial  bonding. On this day, for those who can not have that which we do, we send our prayers. For all of the wind and snows gentle playfulness, those who are not prepared can fall prey to it's harsh cold shoulders.
