Romancing the Darker Side

Walking down the street one night
A shadow crossed my path.
He moved in close to me
And let out an evil laugh.

He took my hand and led me
Into the cemetery.
He said I was to follow him -
He'd show me my destiny.

He held me and kissed me,
Made me feel so alive.
We were romancing
The darker side.

With his strong arms
He embraced me,
His unliving eyes
Reflected what I need.

His touch
Was cold as stone.
Staring into my eyes -
No emotion shown.

He held me and kissed me,
Made me feel so alive.

His kisses
Had the scent of death.
He kissed me and my life faded -
No life in me left.

With faces bleak and laughter cruel
Life we continued to mocked.
