My mind won't SHUT UP!!!

What have you done

Look at me

I'm stuck in this sick reality

You're on my mind way too much

 

We're good friends

But once I started paying attention

I noticed how much

You haven't been

 

Are you avoiding me or what?

Then I realize:

Nothing's really changed

You're still the same kid I didn't always hang out with

 

Now I obsess

It's like you're an addicting drug

To my thoughts and memory

Now it's all about you

 

Shut up

You stupid mind!

Just leave me alone!

Holy crap, it's just a boy!

 

I don't need love

I don't need your presence

Still I can't stop standing on my toes

Searching the whole world for you

 

Is it just to be with you?

You don't even like me that much!

So why should I care?

D****t, mind, just leave me alone

You say this poem isn't supposed to have much of a form, and yet it does indeed have one. The ranting style sure echoes aloud, the agenda that's at stake seeingly warrants it. It's more like watching someone go through a flaming period of self-toture especially over someone. Love Jones.
