I Love You

I Love You

A Poem by Kellie

Despite your faults aplenty, I love you

Despite your forceful rages, I love you

Without you, my world would be incomplete

With smiles to hide the sorrow, I love you

With bare hands I would reach into Hell

With all the strength I that lies in my soul

I would lift you from the fiery pits

Lovingly embrace you with emotions on edge

For without you I could not exist

But all the love that I have for you

Seems to be wasted

Despite what you feel deep in your heart

Your words cut deep leaving a mortal wound

Love me, Love me, for I always love you

Hold me, for I always cradle you in my heart

But it's hard to show love with emotions on edge

Despite you vengeful nature, and vindictive mind

Just remember,

When insults are slinging about, I love you

When screaming deafens us, I love you

When we are blind with anger and hate, I love you

When we can no longer stomach to look at each other

When we have said too much, but not nearly enough

When our hearts are pounding and our blood is boiling

When there is nothing left, but to scream and cry

Just remember that no matter the outcome

No matter the words

No matter the pain

No matter what

I love you, for ever and always

I love you.
