Only Place left to Go

Love is not something easy to move on from, and sometimes is impossible for life to answer.

There are places that I dream of going

but I could never go with you.

It would bring up the unfinished trail

 that was made by a special two

My journey put on halt on that day an envelope labeled fate came to her door

My beautiful bride put to rest by a disease with no cure

Do not take offense, this is time’s evil foul

For if I had not met her first,

 you would be the one to have my vows

I mean no harm by this,

just putting up my humble views

For if I don’t, it may bring up the past I had with her,

 that I can never have with you.

So my love, there is no time to waste there is much for us to explore

You pick the weapon of your choice, and together we will go through death’s door

yes metaphors to invoke the power that previous love can have on someone and how hard it can be to move on, and for some that they can not move on
