Fire

Material passion and spiritual freedom.

It's ugly, it's beautiful,

Spark-less or magical

But it's mine!

And I embrace all that i write

I embrace all that i get in life

At least I try

to.

'Cause life's throwing lemons

and I gotta make lemonade

Life's not roses and life doesn't serenade

us.

But even through my low I'm not lone

Albeit owing to these blockages I'm worn

Worn of doing nothing

'Cause there's a passion burning within

that just stays suppressed-

A passion remaining unexpressed.

Let the fire unfurl - my heart says

Let my urges get wings to fly 

free across the sky

A lot of questions I've written

A lot of curiosity awaits the answers

But a lot more than just curiosity-

it's my hopes, it's my desires

that long for fire

to ignite.

Somewhere i know it ain't gonna happen what i hope for

But i hope to be wrong

Somewhere i feel it's gonna happen and this could be my chance

of a lifetime. 

God, i love You

Please give me what i long for.
