miscalls

miscalls

A Poem by poddar kushal

miscalls

You knew his language of miscalls

The rings of love, fatigue, hate and all.

You knew a call at four

Meant at café, four o’ clock.

You knew the miscalls close

Three short rings means

He loved you!

Still, can you say at this day of reckoning,

That you really knew him?

lol, like the last reviewer said, interesting piece. It really those hint at someone who was really intune with another person to one extent, but totally out of sync with them at the same time. I think this piece shows a lot of your creative strength.

Interesting piece of work. Can any of us really say that we know one another? What of these walls of alienation that we build between us?

Good call on this one. :)

What an interesting little read, I enjoyed the lightness that bubbled here .... and then of course the sharp reminder into reality. Mx

Words can say so much or so little and missed calls can say it all.

You knew the miscalls (close Was this meant to be code)

One ring - thinking of you - or was it a misdial - --- two rings i miss you why not wait til I pick up ---

no rings ---- day of reckoning

did I ever know you?

keeping contact is so easy these day with mobile phone and txt.

it is easy to love and yet never know the person who hides behind these tools and who turns this tool. Such a shame this tool can become a weapon to destroy.

A good, tight and thought provoking read.

Thank you

How often do we find that we care for someone, but miscalls happen all the time with them? It is such a blessing when you find the one who gets you, to the core of your being, and this doesn't happen any longer. How many of us even know ourselves, all the time?

Interesting it had a real "ghostly" feel to it. Good job!

i like this one...we always believe we know someone so well but then the day comes when we need to admit that we really didnt know them at all. rings on the phone are but surface currents on the river. the real question is, does one know what is hidden in the rocky shore below the eye's reach. nice one.
