name game

name game

A Poem by poddar kushal

Name game

It was not his name really.

He may have any other.

Yet his presence, eloquent,

Delightful and ever green

Shimmers like an imp in space.

It disappears but remains true.

Like those scripts, futile without

A mind to conjure them up

In a word of its reflection.

His name remains true to them

Who believes it to be truth.

Sometimes your name is more important than one thinks, so I understand the character in your poem.
Reading your poem, I had to think of these twin brothers whose parents had the 'audacity' or stupidity to call their sons Tom ... and Jerry...
Sometimes, you need an alias to get recognition.
Sometimes, it can be useful as a protective coat.
Sometimes, you can become the character in your own movie ... And some people do believe in movies like children in fairy tales, in order to lift up their life into another dimension.
