Love flash

I wrote this last night in my journal as a result of my heartache and insomnia... an interesting combination... I hope you enjoy then results!

Oh,

     if I could

     but see his eyes

     contantly glues to mine,

     what a life I would be living!

Oh,

     if I could

     have his hand

     interlaced with mine,

     how happy I would be!

Oh,

     to never be

     far away from his

     voice, his heart beating

     in unison with mine, what joy!

Oh,

     to have him

     care, love me as

     much as I love him, what

     pain would dissolve from me!

Oh,

     how I love him,

     how I need him,

     how I care for him

     beyond what seems posible.

 

If I had him

to love and to hold

forever until

Earth's corners may fold.

Oh, how I'd love him.

Oh, how I'd sing.

Oh, how we'd balance out,

the yang to the yin.

His eyes bright blue,

soft as my lovesick melody,

the door to his soul

now I just need the key.

My heart, bruised and cracked,

overworked at minimum wage,

just enough to get by.

It's fallen into rage.

It wants to rest, sleep or sigh

But no relief can close it's eyes.

It's doomed to live through all the pain

and in return, nothing to gain.

I want him,

I love him,

I need him with me.

I need him

to love me.

'Till then, I'll not sleep.
