Decay

Time passes, and cellular breakdown occurs.

A prism of entropy where chaos sets in

Neglected by time, corroding within

Consumed by rust, falling apart

Wilted and fading, return to start

A very good write about decline. Excellent use of brevity. Good imagery and descriptives in these well crafted rhyming couplets. Just a note, there's a spelling error in line two of the first couplet. Last word should be within. Good word choice. Nice alliteration. Well penned. Write on!

Fantastic description of the life cycle of decay. If you can make decay sound poetic then, I'd say you got skills. There wasn't anything I didn't like about it.

Both death and decay can be beautiful with the right words. Even darkness its self can be described with elegance. And I find beauty in the things that most people don't, such as death, decay, and darkness. Call me strange or weird, but I can't help who I am and what I feel drawn to. :)
