Night Mares Road Hard

A Poem by Lucinda Bogart

Night

Mares
Road hard
Fear stained flight
Pounding
Pounding
Choking
Screaming
Sin
Raw-boned
Bitter tea
Must get
Away
From him
Jailer
Jailer
Retched Beast
Drew the knife
Perfect slice
Took her life
Razor thin
Escape makes
A mystery
Out of me

Hmm. I reviewed this piece but it seems to have disappeared on me.

This speaks of a soul or person trying to find reason and justification in a sense. Looking for a release but it also speaks of courage seeing the damning nature of a relationship and knowing it will eventually consume the very core of their being. To often people are to blind to see such things feeling it just the nature of such things. But here you speak of wisdom that is seen and learned to be a fact.

Great Job!!!!!!!
