Benchmarks Sparks Fly

A Poem by Lucinda Bogart

Benchmarks
Sparks fly
Vampires take to the sky
Undone by the undoing of desolation
Hesitation wandering alone in the streets
Frustration seeks to speak
Aloud
Proud
Of its bastion of pretense
Recompense
No more to be had
How sad
Tearstained
Cheeks
Tainted with jealous
Indignation
Absolution
Revolution
Seeks
Heat
But finds instead
Calamity
Insanity
Under the seats
Just
Another
Repeat

Truly an enjoy word waltz. The dancing of words and lines causing such deep images to appear with in my mind's eye both clearly and vividly. I saw a scene of a dark creature trying to allure a victim with sweet words and charm. The depth of far this caused my imagination to dwell was perfect and completely wonderful.

Great Job!!!!!!
